Neck, Back, & Spinal Rehab
Millions of Americans suffer from chronic neck and back pain — but you don’t have to be one of them. At Orthopedic & Sports Therapy of Kenner, we start by identifying the root cause of your pain, and then develop a personalized treatment plan to relieve discomfort, restore mobility, and promote long-term healing.
Our skilled physical therapists use a combination of proven, hands-on techniques including manual therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, manual traction, and other targeted therapies. We also offer advanced treatments such as dry needling, IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), kinesiology taping, and industrial medicine services tailored to your specific needs.
In addition to treatment, we prioritize patient education — helping you understand your condition, your options, and how to make informed decisions about your care. We also offer pre-rehabilitation to prepare you for surgery and post-operative therapy to support a full and successful recovery.
At Orthopedic & Sports Therapy, we’re committed to helping you feel better, move better, and get back to living your life.

Dry Needling
Our therapists now offer dry needling to treat pain and impaired movement. Not to be confused with acupuncture, dry needling involves the insertion of a thin needle into trigger points to release the underlying muscles and connective tissues. This will reduce muscle tension, improve pain control, and can speed up rehabilitation. Contact the clinic nearest you to find out more.
IASTM
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is yet another option for resolving pain and accelerating healing. It works on most body parts. This is a form of deep tissue massage using instruments that glide over the skin. These instruments use mechanotransduction to remodel scar tissue and stimulate new tissue growth. Ask your PT if this technique is right for you!
